Unemployment in San Jose Drops to 10.1 Percent

It’s still not quite below the ten percent mark that everyone would like, but it is sure getting there. Unemployment in the San Jose area has dropped down to 10.1 percent as of this past April, which is a nice drop from the 10.6 percent it was back in March. The biggest piece of good news out of this is how it compares to the rate at this time last year, which was 11.4 percent. It took a year to get this far, but it seems as if job gains and improvements are steadily increasing. Most job increases were due to sectors such as information, manufacturing, and business services.
Send Flowers Through Rosies & Posies

If you’re looking for a good, reputable flower delivery company in the San Jose area, you might want to give Rosies & Posies a try. The business has been around since 1989, which is nearly as long as I’ve been alive. The company was listed in the Brides Choice Awards this year, and has flowers for every occasion—from sympathy arrangements to anniversary bouquets, new baby gift baskets to all of your prom needs. Right now, if you buy from Rosies & Posies online, you can use the code “10” when you check out and get 10% off your purchase.
Philadelphia Unemployment Rate

The Philadelphia Unemployment Rate is hovering around 10.8% according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics from this past January (the most recent date information was available). This number is higher than many (especially those who are actually unemployed) in the Philly area would like, but there is still some hope for further recovery. Let's try and keep positive about this guys!
Tucson, AZ Unemployment Rate

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics ranks the Tucson, AZ Metropolitan Statistical Area at 163 (out of 372) with an unemployment rate of 8.4% citing statistics from this past November (the last month with hard figures). This puts the Tucson area at just below the half way point between the best rates - and the worst ones in the country. What does this mean for Tucson residents looking for a job? Business as usual.
San Jose, CA Job Market

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics ranks the San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area at 301 (out of 372) with an unemployment rate of 11% - unfortunately a typical rate and rank for most of California (southern CA in particular).
